its been 10 days since i’ve experiencing constant burning in my vagina and a white coloured thick n watery discharge. I went to a general practictioner after two days from when this started and he told me that it could be a urinary tract infection. The thing is he didn’t examine the area and just got my urine test done. He said that my urine was normal and there were no bacteria or germs found in it. He gave me a prescription of antibiotics to follow for a week. But the condition became worse after i started taking those tablets …the burning was unbearable and i was crying constantly. After 4 days of taking antibiotics i couldn’t take the burning anymore and went to a gynaecologist. He examined the area and told me that some thing had aggravated the area and there was inflammation and redness inside. Since i am a virgin and have had no sexual activity, this couldn’t be any STD. But i used to clean the area with a soap when i used to take a bath and that may have resulted into this irritation. I just want to know is this yeast infection or thrush ? any of u have experienced the same kind of infection? how long does it take to clear up? I have been using canesten cream since 4 days …it gave me some relief for the first 3 days but the burning is back on the 4”th day and the discharge is back too……i don’t know wat to do ? Please help me..i am really scared.

If I were you I’d go to the store and buy a 1 day Yeast Infection medication, use it and see if it goes away in a couple of days. Especially if you’ve been on antibiotics, those are a huge culprit of yeast infections, hopefully your doctor told you that.
It can’t hurt anything and will give you peace of mind.

If that doesn’t help I’d strongly recommend going to see another doctor until they figure it out. You know what is ‘normal’ for you. Don’t give up.

Please don’t answer this if your just gonna say: go to the doctor and get what ever blah blah.

I have thrush and I was wondering if there’s a way to treat myself for it at home.
I would rather do this than see a doctor because it’s slightly embarrasing.

and I wanna try everything I can before buying Diflucan one and etc.
